La Mata Beach
Long fine-sand beach with protected dunes, about 5 km from La Hoya.
La Mata beach is one of the great fine-sand beaches of the Costa Blanca, several kilometres long, with protected dunes and a seafront promenade lined with terraces.
It is the closest beach to La Hoya to the north. Ideal for families, early-morning walks along the shore and beach sports.
